Protect your workforce with Plymovent Welding Fume Extraction equipment

Welding fumes are a mixture of metal fumes and gases produced during welding operations. They generally have different compositions, depending on the metals used for welding, so they contain several contaminants. We have been buying and selling Welding Fume Extraction equipment for over 50 years. Plymovent is one of the brands we trust. The company started 40 years ago in the Netherlands and Sweden is committed to providing clean air in the work place.

Plymovent is a global, leading supplier of products, systems and services for the extraction and filtration of polluted indoor air.

The worldwide company wtih subsidiaries in France, USA, Canada, Germany and the Netherlands provide high-quality solutions that remove welding and cutting fumes, grinding dust and oil mist in the metalworking industry.Additionally, Plymovent extractors offer solutions for the capturing and removal of vehicle exhaust gases. The products contribute significantly to a cleaner, safer and healthier workplace – anywhere in the world.

Welding fumes are a mixture of metal fumes and gasses produced during welding operations. They generally have different compositions, depending on the metals used for welding, so they contain several contaminants. Mixture of airborne particles and gasses released or produced by the welding process. Composition varies according to the welding process and typically contains metal oxides and other metal reaction products, particulate from flux of electrodes and gases produced by UV light like ozone and shielding gases Finer dust mass fraction is alveolic and can accumulate in the lungs and remain in the body. Compounds. 90% of the particles come from the welding consumables. Welding fumes enter the human body through the lungs. They mix with the air we inhale.

These mobile welding fume extractors are compatible with the Plymovent extraction arms. All mobile units provide increased flexibility. It makes welding at various workplaces and locations where a fixed, stationary installation operate.

MODELS

PHV The PHV is a high-vacuum portable unit the size of a vacuum cleaner. It can be used everywhere, even locations that are not or hardly accessible to stationary and larger mobile units.

MFD This mobile unit is based on the mechanical DuraFilter system. It is compatible with the plastic tube extraction arms: Flex and UltraFlex. It is designed for infrequent to regular dry welding activities.

MFS A mobile unit based on the self-cleaning filter. It is compatible with the plastic tube extraction arms: Flex and UltraFlex. It is designed for intensive dry welding activities.

MFE The MFE mobile unit is suitable for the extraction of welding fumes from oil-treated steel. The open filter structure ensures a constant suction level. It is compatible with the plastic tube extraction arms: Flex and UltraFlex.

Mobile One MobileOne can be taken with you to plant locations not accessible to other forms of at-source capture ventilation. It is compatible with metal and hose tube extraction arms. It is designed for intensive dry welding and dust activities.

MultiFume Caddie This mobile unit is a low-noise mechanical mobile filter for welding fumes and dry dust. It is compatible with metal and hose tube extraction arms. It is designed for infrequent to regular dry welding activities.

Plymovent fans are used for the extraction of welding fumes, oil mist, dust and vehicle exhaust. The wide range of fans covers the demands of almost any application.

FAN-14/28 The FAN-14/28 is a wall-mounted extraction fan that provides extraction for plastic hose tube extraction arms with and without filtration. 0.55-0.75 kW

FUA The fans in the FUA series can be used as a direct mount fan for metal and hose tube extraction arms or as a central fan in small extraction systems. 0.37-2.2 kW

FAN-42 The FAN-42 is a wall-mounted extraction fan that provides extraction for plastic tube extraction arms being part of a small central filter system. 1.5 kW

TEV The TEV series ventilation fans are designed for use as central fans in larger systems with multiple extraction points. 0.75-7.5 kW

SIF The extraction fans in the SIF series are sound-insulated and designed for use in central welding fume extraction systems or general filtration systems. 3-22 kW

MNF Portable extraction fan for use in welding operations in vessels and other confined spaces. 0.75 kW

BSFM Portable extraction fan for use in various operations in vessels and other confined spaces. 0.37kW

Extraction arms enable you to capture fumes at source. With a wide range of extraction arms with metal tubes, plastic tubes and hose tubes. The extraction arms are available in various working reaches and can be used on extension booms if extra reach is needed or mounted on rails for virtually unlimited reach.

Metal tube extraction arms The Plymovent metal tube extraction arms enable at-source capture of for example welding fumes, oil mist and dust.

Plastic tube extraction arms are specifically designed for welding fume extraction and can be connected to both mobile and stationary filter systems.

Hose tube extraction arms The range of hose tube extraction arms offers flexible and economic solutions to capture fumes at source.

Airflow sensor FlowGuard is a sensor to check and indicate whether the airflow in your extraction arm is adequate.

DraftMax - the new generation of downdraft tables DraftMax is a workbench and an extraction/filtration system in one. The downdraft table extracts fumes and dust from welding and grinding processes through the surface of the workbench and filters them out of the air. It removes welding fumes from the breathing zone of the welder and people working nearby. DraftMax can be placed anywhere, even inside a welding booth.
