This assists the high velocity plasma arc in blowing the molten metal away from the cut.<br \/>\nThe secondary flow also helps cooling the front end of the torch and prolonging consumable parts life, reducing a build-up of spatter on the torch.<\/p>\n<p>Nitrogen, or a mixture of argon and hydrogen can be used as the plasma gas. Carbon dioxide, water and compressed air or nitrogen are then used as the secondary gas.<br \/>\nConsumables and energy will be greatly reduced if ask your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airliquide.com\/industry\/welding-cutting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gas supplier<\/a> for advice to achieve the optimum cut at the lowest cost.<\/p>\n<p>Supplied for <strong>manual cutting<\/strong> with a PCH-6B hand torch as standard, or alternatively there is an option to add a machine torch.<br \/>\nThe model PCM-6B straight torch facilitates an upgrade to mechanise your CNC profile cutting capabilities.<br \/>\nRetro fitting a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westermans.com\/plasmacutters.aspx\">plasma cutting table<\/a> with a Pak 45 from an oxy-fuel torch, will allow cut quality with excellent results on both stainless steel and aluminium.<\/p>\n<p>We have <strong>2 used <\/strong>plasma cutting systems for sale which were manufactured by the American company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westermans.com\/thermaldynamics.aspx\">Thermal Dynamics<\/a> a number of years ago.
