What does the warranty include?
After your order and payment, the machine will be stripped, cleaned, any necessary parts replaced, re-assembled and then ran and tested with any faults rectified.
This testing process is carried out by our own fully trained Engineers. Weld tests will be performed and if you specifically ask or supply a sample of material or thickness this will be completed.
We have a huge stock of spares and parts and all machines can be repaired by the fully trained Engineers if needed.
The final process is to wrap and secure your machine ready for delivery. We shrink wrap and palletise most machines to ensure protection until it arrives at its destination.
Warranty
1. AS IS
If you are restricted by budget a small number of machines can be supplied in "AS IS" condition which means it has not been checked nor will any warranty will be given. It is the Buyers responsibility to view the equipment prior to purchase and all equipment is sold as seen.
2. Serviced
All machines sold have been Run, Checked and Tested.
They are supplied fully working.
These are covered by our 4 months “Peace of Mind” warranty for Parts and Labour. * Parts Warranty only outside of the UK.
If a fault occurs, machines will be required to be returned to our works at your cost.
3. Refurbished
All machines sold in refurbished condition will have paint work re-sprayed if needed and have been Run, Checked and Tested.
Any wearing parts will be replaced if the Engineer feels it necessary.

If a fault ocurrs, machines will be required to be returned to our works at your cost.
Warranty is void if any product has been altered or modified in any way including, but not limited to, attempted warranty repair without authorisation from Westermans International Ltd
Some equipment will be supplied with longer warranty periods if new electrical components have been replaced. Please see your quote for specific warranty of individual machines.
We understand the urgent need for any plant to be working and therefore we will treat as Urgent. Should you machine develop a fault within the warranty period, if possible we will offer a loan machine, subject to availability, similar to the faulty machine.**
Depending on the location and size of the machine, often our Engineers can visit on a call-out basis. This will be discussed in the initial conversation if feasible.
Please note. If the fault is found to be due to the installation or of the operator our normal hourly Repair Rate will apply for both travel and labour.

Our Company decided many years ago that we wanted to have a reputation for exceptional quality products and outstanding service. Therefore we do not normally supply equipment "As Is" or "Un-checked" or via Auction. This is a risk of not only your time but money also. Please call us if any equipment purchased from Westermans develops a fault no matter how long you have owned it.
Extended Warranty
As a flexible company we realise our customer’s need are often varied. Therefore, we are happy to quote you the cost for up to 12 months Parts and Labour warranty to cover your equipment. Further details on request.
International Warranty Support*
As Global welding equipment suppliers we will ensure that on despatch your machines is fully working and has been through a rigorous testing procedure. We will honour our 4 months "Peace of Mind" Warranty on all machines unless stated, however we are not responsible for any freight costs to and from our works to repair faulty equipment.

Returns for other reasons than under warranty are only be possible if authorised prior.
Due to machines being completed to order there will be a minimum of a 25% re-stocking fee.
All new consumables including torches have a 3 month manufacturers warranty.
