Compressed air as the cutting gas
With output currents ranging from 30 to 100 amps
Using nothing more than compressed air as the cutting gas and having the best consumable life in their class, these machines are extremely economical to use.

The Powermax series of plasma cutters are capable of cutting the following thickness and can, in certain cases, cut more.

Oxygen Plasma Cutter
Hyspeed Plasma: HSD130

Hypertherm's new Hyspeed HSD 130 oxygen gas plasma cutting system has been introduced to fill the gap between the Powermax 1650 and the HPR 130.

The cost effective oxygen and air plasma cutter gives our customers, with a high production requirement, access to Longlife oxygen technology... giving higher cutting speeds, virtually dross free cutting on mild steel and a much, much higher consumable life.

Flexibility to convert this machine with an additional fuel gas console, gives you one of the lowest cost per cut ratios on the market, allowing you to cut stainless with F5 and H35 gas combinations for the highest cut qualities.

With the additional option of the Plasma Torch Height Control, this plasma cutter gives the accuracy and lack of waste not offered by many other systems.

The Max 100 200 is one of Hypertherms' most established machines. The 200 has an output current of 200 amps giving it the capability to sever 60mm by hand and cut 25mm on a CNC cutting machine.

Built like a tank this machine is happy working under the most extreme conditions, including scrap metal yards and metal fabrication companies.

It has the ability to use many different plasma and shield gas configurations allowing you to cut a wide range of materials.

The Hyperformance plasma cutting systems, HPR130, HPR260 and HPR 400XD, deliver the most accurate cutting available from Hypertherms range of systems.

The speed and consumable life of these machines provide one of the most economical ways of profile cutting on the market today. The systems provide you with superb process flexibility to cut, bevel and mark metals up to 80 mm thick.
