- AMI 9-750 upper and lower cassette
- The Model 9CT series weld heads are designed for fusion (TIG) welding of tube or thin-wall pipe through the range of 0.093” (2.3mm) to 1.50” (38.1mm) O.D.
- These weld heads feature a removable cassette module which acts as a fixturing device to align and hold the tubing or fittings prior to welding
- Each cassette can accommodate a wide range of tube or pipe sizes by installing various size clamp inserts.
- These clamps are available in all standard inch and metric tube and pipe sizes, as well as sizes for custom applications
- Each cassette is fitted with a tube alignment gauge. This (dead-stop) gauge serves to automatically position the weld joint to the electrode. Once the cassette is loaded
- fit-up is easily checked, as the cassette provides 360 degrees of visibility of the weld joint. Mount the cassette onto the weld head, or plug the head into the cassette, and it’s ready to weld
- Cassettes may be used in-place or mounted onto a bench for high-production applications. By using multiple cassettes, production rates can be significantly increased
