This is no ordinary Service Engineer job. It's for someone who knows welding equipment inside out.
Do you love Fault Finding, fixing Machines, using your initiative, skills and have Mechanical and Electrical experience?
This unique role is for a very special in-house Service Engineer to join our expanding International company. We supply and repair not only the widest range of brands in the welding industry but many makes and models of cutting and positioning machinery too.
Normally a welder finds a fault with his piece of welding kit, but this becomes your job too. Not only will you have to know how to repair anything from an ESAB GTAW welder to a Hypertherm plasma cutter, from a Lincoln Diesel welder generator to a Fronius MIG MAG power supply, you will also have to run, test, fault find, repair and service it.

You Must Have
Proven experience working on Lincoln Electric, ESAB, Fronius International GmbH , Kemppi Oy or Miller Electric Mfg. Co. Hypertherm plasma machinery.
Fault Finding. Repairs, Service Experience
Welding application knowledge to test the equipment. Weld testing is a vital skill.

1. Would you be able to run a TIG / MIG / Stick arc welding machine and make sure it functions ok ?
If it did not function ok, could you diagnose the fault?
2. From the diagram below can you give as much information as you can.
Please try to explain / identify blocks of components and what they do.
If you can, please identify what process the machine can weld.
3. Are you able to repair / diagnose faulty diesel engines? This is desirable but not essential.
4. Have you at least 5 years welding equipment repair and service experience.

Interested but not qualified?
If your background is within the machine tools, industrial equipment environment and you have knowledge of both TIG and MIG welding processes then you may be considered.
