- Lincoln LT7 Sub-Arc Tractor can be supplied on its own or with a welding power source and/or track for butt or fillet welding
- Compared to manual welding, SAW tractors move faster, don’t need to stop for repositioning and enable welding with higher parameters and/or larger diameter wires.
- The advantages of a portable welding tractor are numerous.
- Once the welder is finished with one weld, they can then pick up the tractor and move it to the next work piece while the previous work piece moves onto the next step in production.
- Welding tractors offer a level of automation which can improve consistency, efficiency and productivity in fabrication
- By making continuous welds, tractors reduce rework associated with start/stop defects
